The Costa de la Luz forms the western part of the Andalucían coastline that faces out to the Atlantic. Literally translated, the name means "the coast of light". Its reputation stems from the fact that the region usually enjoys 3,000 hours of sunshine every year. Yet its position, on Spain's Atlantic coast, means that a cooling sea breeze is never far away. Fifteen
wonderful beaches stretch along the 150 kilometre length of the coastline
bounded by the river mouths of the Guadiana and Guadalquivir. And it's those fine, white sands which distinguish the area between Isla Canela and Punta del Moral - a stretch of 7 kilometres. It's finer and a more golden colour than the neighbouring Costa del Sol. The
nearby town of Ayamonte, boasts a tourist complex complete with everything
necessary to enjoy an unforgettable holiday. The golf, tennis and water
sports facilities are all excellent.

SUN, SEA and GOLF! The Costa de la Luz offers all three - in abundance. Just a few hours by air from most points in Europe is that perfect combination of beautiful scenery, peaceful beaches and stunning world-class golf courses. But if your idea of the perfect holiday is chilling out by the pool, gentle exploration or just experiencing new tastes and sensations, Isla de Canela Villa is a great place to base yourself. The Villa Completed in 2006 our villa is finished to an exceptional standard. It boasts three generous bedrooms and 2 baths, as well as a spacious sitting room, dining room and kitchen. Whatever time of year you visit, you're certain to be comfortable. The villa is air-conditioned and also has central heating. At
the rear of the property, there's a ground floor terrace with views
to the adjacent golf course as well as a first floor terrace accessed
from bedroom 1. Take a few short steps away from the villa and you can
use the giant landscaped swimming pool. Faro Airport in Portugal is just 40 minutes drive away and is well served from all over Europe and many UK regional airports by a variety of low-cost airlines as well as a number of scheduled carriers. Arriving via Seville means a longer drive to the Villa but would give you the opportunity of visiting this wonderful Spanish city. >>more | Click on the button below to take a virtual look around this magnificent villa.
Important news As you may know, mosquitoes can be found in most of southern Europe and while they're generally more active at dawn and in the evening, they inflict a bite which can be both painful and irritating. So in our villa, as well as screens to all of the windows, we've fitted nets on the ground floor which fully enclose the terrace. This way, evenings on the terrace and sleeping should be critter free!
